IGC
The FAI gliding standard used by XCTrack, Flyskyhy, Burnair, XContest, and competition scoring. SkyViz uses IGC for 3D replay. What is an IGC file?
Convert paragliding GPS files in your browser. No signup, no upload to a server — your track stays on your device.
Conversion runs entirely in your browser. Files are never uploaded to SkyViz.
Drop a GPX, FIT, KML, or IGC file from XCTrack, Garmin, Strava, Google Earth, or your flight logger.
Choose IGC for paragliding logbooks and contests, or GPX / KML / FIT for maps, Strava, and Google Earth.
Get the converted file on your device. Then open it in SkyViz for 3D replay, stats, and videos.

The most common GPS exchange format. Garmin Connect, Strava, Komoot, Apple Watch exports, and many hiking apps use GPX. Convert GPX to IGC when you need a flight file.
Garmin's binary sports format from watches, Edge computers, and inReach. Convert FIT to IGC to use a Garmin track in a paragliding logbook.
Google Earth's format. Convert IGC to KML to view a flight in Google Earth, or KML to IGC when you only have an Earth track.
Upload the .gpx file, leave the output on IGC, and download. The converter reads track points, elevation, and timestamps and writes a standard IGC B-record file.
Yes. Export the activity from Garmin Connect or copy the .fit file from your watch, then convert it here. Points without GPS coordinates are skipped.
No. Converted files are not signed by an approved flight recorder, so they are not valid for FAI or XContest scoring. Use them for visualization, logbooks, and sharing — not official claims.
No. Parsing and conversion run in your browser. The file never leaves your device. That is also why the tool works without an account.
Yes. Upload an IGC file and choose GPX (Strava, maps, most GPS apps) or KML (Google Earth). FIT export is also available for Garmin-style workflows.
