About SkyViz

Hi! I'm a paragliding pilot from Switzerland. I built SkyViz because I wanted something simple to track my flights and turn them into videos to share with friends. The tools I found didn't really fit my needs and were either outdated or way too complicated, so I decided to make my own.

What started as just something for myself somehow found its way to other pilots, which makes me super happy 😃 If you're reading this, thank you for checking it out. It really means a lot.

As more people started using SkyViz, I ended up putting way more time into this than I ever expected. I genuinely enjoy working on it, but it is a huge time investment and somehow I need to cover the costs (and I can't live on reiswaffeln and magerquark forever), so I added a Pro option.
